In the present invention, a first storage unit stores a primary component table which holds product design information. A second storage unit stores, for each predetermined unit comprising products which are manufactured with the same design information, a sub-component table which holds product design information and a design information update deadline. A first determination unit determines whether the primary component table was changed. A second determination unit determines whether the current date precedes the update deadline. If the primary component table has been changed and the current date precedes the update deadline, the second determination unit reflects, in the sub-component table, the change made to the primary component table.
