Abstract | Method and system for managing hidden node problem in a communication network. A receiving node in the system, upon receiving a data transmission request from at least one transmitting node, dynamically checks status of the channel between the transmitting node and the receiving node. If the channel is found to be clear for transmission, then the receiving node sends a message that indicates that the channel is clear, to the transmitting node, and the transmitting node starts transmitting the data. Upon receiving a message from the receiving node that the channel is not clear for transmission, then the transmitting node waits for a particular time period and attempts the connection again.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de gestion d'un problème de nœud caché sur un réseau de communication. Un nœud de réception au sein du système, lors de la réception d'une demande de transmission de données qui provient d'au moins un nœud de transmission, vérifie dynamiquement l'état du canal entre le nœud de transmission et le nœud de réception. Si le canal est libre pour la transmission, le nœud de réception envoie alors un message qui indique que le canal est libre, au nœud de transmission, et le nœud de transmission commence à transmettre les données. Lors de la réception d'un message provenant du nœud de réception et indiquant que le canal n'est pas disponible pour la transmission, le nœud de transmission attend alors pendant une durée spécifique et tente à nouveau la connexion. |
