A blower device that comprises: a ring-shaped cover (3) that covers a motor upper part (30a) and that is attached to a motor holder (1) that surrounds an opening (2); and a blower fan (5) that has a rotational center part that is joined to a rotating shaft and that has a lower end part that approaches the motor holder (1). The ring-shaped cover (3) comprises a sleeve part (3s) that covers the motor upper part (30a), a flange part (3f) that extends from a lower end of the sleeve part (3s) and that covers the surface of the motor holder (1), and an annular skirt part (3w) that is formed at the peripheral edge of the flange part (3f). The annular skirt part (3w) is pressed into an annular groove (1m) of the motor holder (1).
