Die Erfindung betrifft einen Injektor (1) zur Injektion eines Operations-Hilfsfluids (20) in ein Auge, welcher einen Aufnahmebereich zur Aufnahme zumindest eines Fluidbestandteils des Hilfsfluids (20) aufweist, wobei der Injektor (1) eine Mischungseinrichtung zur Erzeugung des Hilfsfluids (20) mit einem ersten Aufnahmebereich (13) mit einem einen ersten Fluidbestandteil des Hilfsfluids (20) bildenden viskoelastischen Fluid (11) aufweist und einen davon separierten zweiten Aufnahmebereich (9) mit einem einen zweiten Fluidbestandteil des Hilfsfluids (20) bildenden Farbstoff (10) aufweist, und die Mischungseinrichtung derart ausgebildet ist, dass in dem Injektor (1) selbst ein Mischen des viskoelastischen Fluids (13) und des Farbstoffs (10) zum Hilfsfluid durchführbar ist.
