Abstract The present application discloses a system and method for preservation, storage and transport of biological materials by the use of at least one deformable container configured with at least one inlet at one end, an outer surface greater than 80% of the total surface of the cavities (101) of the support (100) and a width and length sufficient for it to be placed in contact with all the heat transfer plates (132) of the support (100). This technology allows improvement of the heat transfer necessary for freezing and thawing large volumes of solutions containing biological materials. This technology allows to considerably accelerate the heat transfer, as well as the reproducibility and scalability of the freezing and thawing process while keeping the system very compact. La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de conservation, stockage et transport de matières biologiques par l'utilisation d'au moins un récipient déformable configuré avec au moins une entrée à une première extrémité, une surface externe supérieure à 80 % de la surface totale des cavités (101) du support (100), et une largeur et une longueur suffisantes pour lui permettre d'être placé en contact avec toutes les plaques de transfert de chaleur (132) du support (100). Cette technologie permet d'améliorer le transfert de chaleur nécessaire pour la congélation et la décongélation de grands volumes de solutions contenant des matières biologiques. Cette technologie permet d'accélérer considérablement le transfert de chaleur, ainsi que la reproductibilité et l'extensibilité du procédé de congélation et de décongélation, tout en maintenant le système très compact.
