Abstract Provided is a molded fiber-reinforced composite material that can have increased strength with respect to force from a direction perpendicular to the axial direction thereof, and that is such that deformation of a honeycomb core member in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction thereof is suppressed. The present invention is configured from: a reinforcing substrate (31) resulting from overlapping a plurality of prepreg sheets (31a) resulting from impregnating carbon fibers with an epoxy resin; a roof main body (2) that is superposed on the reinforcing substrate (31) and that results from overlapping a plurality of prepreg sheets (2a) resulting from impregnating carbon fibers with an epoxy resin; a joined section (4) formed from heating and compressing the reinforcing substrate (31) and the roof main body (2); a closed space (5) formed between the reinforcing substrate (31) and the roof main body (2) and encircled by the joined section (4); and a honeycomb core member (32) that is contained within the closed space (5) and that is such that outer peripheral cells (32a) are filled with an epoxy resin (J).
