Abstract | The present invention relates to the field of modifying flowering time, fruiting and seed setting in members of the palm family. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for control and optimization of Palmae flowering time, fruiting and seed production by manipulating one gene from oil palm. The present invention can be used in various palm breeding efforts.

Plus spécifiquement, la présente invention concerne un procédé pour le contrôle et l'optimisation de la période de floraison, de la production de fruits et de la grenaison des palmacées par manipulation d'un gène provenant de palmier à huile.
