Abstract | The present invention relates to anthracnose-resistant varieties of Capsicum annuum and to a primer set for screening anthracnose-resistant varieties of Capsicum annuum. The present invention provides an F1 hybrid of anthracnose-resistant varieties of Capsicum annuum (5140). Since DNA markers specific to an anthracnose-resistant father line (2602-11-3) developed in the present invention can determine the F1 hybrid of anthracnose-resistant varieties of Capsicum annuum (5140) of the present invention and a novel line which is bred using F1 hybrid of varieties of Capsicum annuum having resistance to anthracnose, the present invention can be effectively used to protect the Capsicum annuum varieties of the present invention.
