Abstract The present invention relates to an encapulated hearing device (50), e.g. for long-term wear, in which an electronics module (10) is encapsulated into a thermoformed hull (30) by means of an appropriate adhesive (41). This thermoformed hull (30) acts as an improved barrier between the electronics module (10) and the environment of the inner ear, reducing the risk of moisture reaching electrical components. La présente invention porte sur un dispositif auditif encapsulé (50), par exemple pour une utilisation à long terme, dans lequel un module électronique (10) est encapsulé dans une coque thermoformée (30) au moyen d'un adhésif approprié (41). Cette coque thermoformée (30) agit en tant que barrière améliorée entre le module électronique (10) et l'environnement de l'oreille interne, réduisant le risque d'humidité atteignant des composants électriques.
