L'invention concerne un procédé de détection d'une activité vocale par un dispositif électronique. Le procédé comprend la détection de parole d'extrémité proche sur la base d'un détecteur de parole voisée d'extrémité proche et d'au moins un détecteur d'activité vocale à canal unique. Le détecteur de parole voisée d'extrémité proche est associé à une statistique harmonique sur la base d'un histogramme de hauteur tonale.
