Abstract The objective of the present invention is to provide a structural material that is for a structure and that can reduce weight while reducing time and effort during production while securing lightning resistance performance. The structural material for a structure is provided with a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic of which the reinforcing material contains carbon fibers, the matrix contains plastic, and the electrical resistivity in the plate thickness direction is 1-200 Omegacm inclusive. The carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic may have an electrical resistivity in the plate thickness direction of no greater than 100 Omegacm, and a metal foil or a metal mesh may be provided to the surface of the carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. La présente invention a pour objectif de proposer une matière structurale qui est destiné à une structure et qui peut réduire le poids tout en réduisant le temps et l'effort pendant la production tout en assurant une performance de résistance à la foudre. La matière structurale pour une structure comporte une matière plastique renforcée par des fibres de carbone dont la matière de renforcement contient des fibres de carbone, la matrice contient une matière plastique et la résistivité électrique dans la direction de l'épaisseur de la plaque est 1-200 Omegacm inclus.
