Abstract Provided is a control device for a hybrid vehicle, which can both improve fuel economy and suppress engine start-up shock. As a trade-off for fully utilizing the power of an electric motor (MG) during motor running, there is a possibility of increased engine start-up shock when starting the engine. The driver is notified when the vehicle is in a high-load operating state, so that even if the engine start-up shock increases, the driver can feel less discomfort with respect to the engine start-up shock compared to when the driver is not notified. In addition, it is conceivable that the driver will also reduce the required drive amount in response to said notification, so the engine start-up shock can be suppressed and/or avoided by reducing or canceling the start-up torque component used during motor running. L'invention porte sur un dispositif de commande pour un véhicule hybride qui peut à la fois améliorer l'économie de carburant et supprimer le choc au démarrage du moteur thermique. Comme compromis pour utiliser pleinement la puissance d'un moteur électrique (MG) pendant la marche au moteur électrique, il y a un risque d'accentuer le choc au démarrage du moteur thermique lors du démarrage du moteur thermique. Le conducteur est averti lorsque le véhicule est dans un état de fonctionnement à forte charge de telle sorte que, même si le choc au démarrage du moteur thermique s'accroît, le conducteur peut ressentir moins de désagrément dû au choc au démarrage du moteur thermique, comparativement au cas où le conducteur n'est pas averti. En supplément, on peut concevoir que le conducteur réduira aussi la puissance de propulsion requise en réponse à ladite notification, de telle sorte que le choc au démarrage du moteur thermique peut être supprimé et/ou évité par la réduction ou l'annulation du composant de couple de démarrage utilisée pendant la marche au moteur électrique.
