Abstract Provided is a cell preservation method characterized in that cells are preserved in a solution comprising, as the active ingredients, a sodium salt, a potassium salt, saccharides, and protein. The present invention provides a cell preservation method with which it is possible to retain a high survival rate and biological activity, even after long term storage, and a preservation solution having a composition essential for such preservation. Moreover, the use of the preservation method makes possible long-term storage of cells while retaining a high survival rate and biological activity with virtually no cell aggregation. The method is very useful for basic cell research as well as applied medical research because a cell rinsing step after preservation is unnecessary. L'invention concerne un procédé de conservation de cellules caractérisé en ce que des cellules sont conservées dans une solution comprenant, en tant qu'ingrédients actifs, un sel de sodium, un sel de potassium, des saccharides et une protéine. La présente invention concerne un procédé de conservation de cellules avec lequel il est possible de maintenir un taux de survie élevé et une activité biologique élevée, même après un stockage à long terme, et une solution de conservation ayant une composition essentielle pour une telle conservation. Par ailleurs, l'utilisation du procédé de conservation rend possible le stockage à long terme de cellules tout en maintenant un taux de survie élevé et une activité biologique élevée avec pratiquement pas d'agrégation cellulaire. Le procédé est très utile pour la recherche cellulaire de base, ainsi que la recherche médicale appliquée car une étape de rinçage des cellules après la conservation n'est pas nécessaire.
