The composites are useful for the production of hard armor articles, including helmet armor. La présente invention se rapporte à la fabrication de matériaux composites fibreux pare-balles qui présentent de meilleures propriétés en termes de résistance aux balles. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention se rapporte à des matériaux composites fibreux pare-balles qui présentent de meilleures propriétés en termes flexion, qui sont corrélées à une faible action vers la face arrière des matériaux composites. Les matériaux composites sont utilisés dans la production d'articles de blindage dur, y compris le blindage de casques.
