Abstract Disclosed in the present invention is a propeller for a toy helicopter which comprises a blade (1) and a shaft hole (11) perforated in the inner end of the blade (1). An installation port (12) is disposed at one side of the shaft hole (11). The blade (1) is detachably connected to a blade connection shaft (3) of a balance mechanism for a helicopter rotor via the shaft hole (11) having the installation port (12). The blade (1) may automatically disengaged from the blade connection shaft (3) under a shock with a certain force, so as to protect the propeller, because of the use of the structure that the installation port (12) is disposed at one side of the shaft hole (11) of the blade (1). The propeller has the advantages of simple structure, long life and low cost. By adopting the structure that a protection filling block (2) is provided at the installation port (12), the propeller can have a more complete structure and a better crashworthiness.
