Abstract A positive electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery, that includes complex particles of lithium iron silicate crystals or lithium manganese silicate crystals and a carbon material. The complex particles have a sea-island structure whereby the lithium iron silicate crystals or the lithium manganese silicate crystals are scattered in an island shape in the carbon material, and the average circle-equivalent diameter for said islands is less than 15 nm. L'invention concerne un matériau d'électrode positive pour une batterie secondaire au lithium-ion, qui comprend des particules complexes de cristaux de silicate de fer et de lithium ou de cristaux de silicate de manganèse et de lithium, et une matière carbonée.
