Abstract The present invention relates to a method for recovering a precious metal (palladium) after a polyketone polymerization reaction, and comprises the steps of: (a) generating a first reaction waste liquid by filtering the polyketone produced by the polyketone polymerization reaction with a reaction medium; (b) generating a second reaction waste liquid by drying a slurry of the produced polyketone; (c) recovering the reaction medium and generating distilled waste liquid through distillation of the first reaction waste liquid and the second reaction waste liquid; (d) adsorbing and isolating the palladium using an ion exchange resin from the distilled waste liquid; and (e) recovering the enriched palladium by desorbing the adsorbed palladium on the ion exchange resin. La présente invention concerne un procédé de récupération d'un métal précieux (palladium) après une réaction de polymérisation de polycétone. Ce procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : (a) générer un premier liquide de rebut de réaction par filtration de la polycétone obtenue par la réaction de polymérisation de polycétone avec un milieu réactionnel ; (b) générer un second liquide de rebut de réaction par séchage d'une bouillie de la polycétone obtenue ; (c) récupérer le milieu de réaction et générer un liquide de rebut distillé par distillation du premier liquide de rebut de réaction et du second liquide de rebut de réaction ; (d) faire adsorber et isoler le palladium à l'aide d'une résine échangeuse d'ions à partir du liquide de rebut distillé ; et (e) récupérer le palladium enrichi par désorption du palladium adsorbé sur la résine échangeuse d'ions.
