Abstract | A particle radiotherapy device, which has a dosage monitoring device (26) that measures particle beam dosage and an ionisation chamber (38) that is smaller than the dosage monitoring device (26), measures the dosage of particle beams passing through the dosage monitoring device (26). The particle radiotherapy device scans the particle beams and irradiates an irradiation position of the irradiation object with the particle beams. The particle radiotherapy device measures the dosage of irradiated particle beams with the dosage monitoring device (26), measures the dosage of particle beams passing through the dosage monitoring device (26) with the small ionisation chamber (38), and on the basis of the dosage of particle beams measured with the small ionisation chamber (38), finds the correction coefficient corresponding to the irradiation position of the dosage measured with the dosage monitoring device (26).
