Abstract A method of enhancing a taste sensation in a consumable composition, comprising the addition thereto of a taste provider selected from a taste provider compound and a mixture of a taste provider compound with a taste enhancement compound, there being additionally added thereto a taste sensation-enhancing quantity of choline chloride. La présente invention a trait à un procédé permettant d'améliorer la sensation gustative d'une composition consommable, lequel procédé comprend les étapes consistant à ajouter dans la composition consommable un élément apportant du goût sélectionné parmi un composé de type élément apportant du goût et un mélange d'un composé de type élément apportant du goût avec un composé d'amélioration du goût, et à ajouter d'autre part à la composition consommable une quantité améliorant la sensation gustative de chlorure de choline.
