Abstract This invention relates to non-bleeding and controlled color- releasing speckles for use in granular laundry detergents and other consumer products. The speckles are comprised of a salt or salt - containing carrier, a coloring agent, and a water- insoluble (or minimally water-soluble) salt coating, wherein the water- insoluble salt coating is a product of reaction between the carrier material and a water-soluble salt. La présente invention concerne des chatoiements ne dégorgeant pas et à dégagement de couleur contrôlé, destinés à des détergents lessiviels granulaires et à d'autres produits de grande consommation. Ces chatoiements sont constitués d'un sel ou d'un vecteur contenant un sel, d'un colorant, et d'un enrobage de sel insoluble dans l'eau ou minimalement hydrosoluble, l'enrobage de sel insoluble dans l'eau étant issu de la réaction entre la substance vecteur et un sel hydrosoluble.
