Abstract The disclosed sliding member comprises a coating layer provided on a substrate, said coating layer having a sliding surface and comprising a resin coating in which a solid lubricant is dispersed. In said sliding member, the (001) plane of the solid lubricant exhibits an improved orientation rate. The mean thickness of the coating layer is at most 3 µm and the mean diameter of the solid lubricant particles, as measured by laser diffraction, is at least 2 µm. The solid lubricant is dispersed with a relative C-axis intensity ratio of at least 90%. L'invention concerne un élément de glissement comprenant une couche de revêtement agencée sur un substrat, ladite couche de revêtement présentant une surface de glissement et comprenant un revêtement en résine dans lequel est dispersé un lubrifiant solide. Dans ledit élément de glissement, le plan du lubrifiant solide présente une vitesse d'orientation améliorée. L'épaisseur moyenne de la couche de revêtement est de 3 µm maximum et le diamètre moyen des particules de lubrifiant solide, tel que mesuré par diffraction, est d'au moins 2 µm.
