Abstract Certain ethylene diamine compounds of Formula (I) are described, which are useful as FAAH inhibitors. Such compounds may be used in pharmaceutical compositions and methods for the treatment of disease states, disorders, and conditions mediated by fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) activity, such as anxiety, pain, inflammation, sleep disorders, eating disorders, energy metabolism disorders, and movement disorders (e.g., multiple sclerosis). Methods of synthesizing such compounds are also disclosed. Certains composés d'éthylène diamine de Formule (I) qui sont des inhibiteurs de FAAH utiles sont décrits. Ces composés peuvent être utilisés dans des compositions pharmaceutiques et des méthodes destinées à traiter des états pathologiques, des troubles, et des affections médiés par l'activité amide hydrolase d'acide gras (FAAH), tels que l'anxiété, la douleur, l'inflammation, les troubles du sommeil, les troubles de l'appétit, les troubles du métabolisme énergétique, et les troubles du mouvement (par exemple, sclérose en plaques).
