Summary: | A connector terminal which, when crimped to an aluminum electric wire, has high mechanical connection strength and stable low electrical connection resistance and, in addition, which has reduced electrical contact resistance when fitted to a mating connector terminal. A connector terminal (1A) comprising: an electrical contact section (10) which is brought into contact and conducted with a mating connector terminal by being fitted to the mating terminal; and a crimping section (12) which is crimped to the conductor of an electric wire. The metallic material which constitutes the terminal (1A) uses aluminum or an aluminum alloy as the base material (100). A Zn layer (101) formed by electroless plating and having a thickness in the range from 0.1 to 2.0 µm and a Cu layer (102) formed by electrolytic plating and having a thickness in the range from 0.5 to 1.0 µm are formed in sequence on the surface of the base material (100), and an Sn layer (105) formed by electrolytic plating and having a thickness in the range from 0.7 to 1.7 µm is formed on the outermost surface.
