Abstract | A method for treating hyperglycemia and/or diabetes in a subject is provided. In particular, the method is directed for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have a fasting blood glucose concentration greater than about 8 mM, wherein the patient is administered a formulation comprising a GLP-1 molecule and a diketopiperazine by pulmonary inhalation with a dry powder inhalation system.
L'invention concerne une méthode de traitement de l'hyperglycémie et/ou du diabète chez un sujet. En particulier, la méthode concerne le traitement de patients souffrant de diabète non insulinodépendant dont la glycémie à jeun est supérieure à environ 8 mM, une formulation comportant une molécule de GLP-1 et une dicétopipérazine étant administrée au patient par inhalation pulmonaire avec un système d'inhalation à poudre sèche. |
