The cover members (103) are anti-slip members arranged on the housing (102) at its corner (105) at which at least two faces of the housing (102) intersect. When the portable telephone (101) is placed on a floor while leaning against a wall (202) at a desired tilt angle, the cover members (103) are in contact with the floor and wall (202) to hold the portable telephone (101) at the angle. A user views TV program etc. displayed on a display section (104) from the arrow A side. L'invention porte sur un appareil électronique portable facilement maintenu en position inclinée sans devoir augmenter le nombre de pièces. Un connecteur (201) est exposé sur la face d'un boîtier (102) de téléphone portable (101) et protégé par des éléments de couvercle (103).
