The present application discloses an ingestible capsule (1) containing drug and a method for controlled administration of the drug in a mammal for treatment of a disease of the GI tract. The capsule has electronic control means (3) for dispensing the drug substantially to the diseased tissue sites of the GI tract, according to a pre-determined drug release profile obtained prior to administration from the specific mammal. La présente invention a pour objet une capsule avalable (1) contenant un médicament et une méthode pour une administration contrôlée d'un médicament chez un mammifère pour traiter une maladie des voies GI. La capsule a un moyen de contrôle électronique (3) pour dispenser le médicament essentiellement aux sites de tissu malade des voies GI, selon un profil de libération de médicament prédéterminé obtenu avant une administration au mammifère spécifique.
