The invention aims at providing a process and equipment by which carbon-containing particles can be efficiently recovered and a high-purity carbon mixture can be obtained from the recovered carbon-containing particles through short-time purification at a low cost and at providing a process and equipment for the production of highly oriented carbon mixtures useful as the raw material for fullerenes or carbon nanotubes. According to the invention, carbon-containing particles are brought into contact with droplets of a chemical fluid capable of increasing the diameters of carbon-containing particles to thereby attain efficient recovery of the particles. Further, the invention enables collection of elemental carbon contained in carbon-containing particles and production of high-purity carbon mixtures through short-time purification. The obtained carbon mixtures are high-purity and highly oriented ones useful as the raw material for fullerenes or carbon nanotubes. L'invention vise à fournir un procédé et un équipement grâce auxquels des particules contenant du carbone peuvent être récupérées de manière efficace et un mélange de carbone de grande pureté peut être obtenu à partir des particules contenant du carbone récupérées à travers une purification de courte durée à un faible coût et à fournir un procédé et un équipement pour la production de mélanges de carbone fortement orientés utiles en tant que matière première pour des fullerènes ou des nanotubes de carbone. Selon l'invention, des particules contenant du carbone sont mises en contact avec des gouttelettes d'un fluide chimique capable d'augmenter les diamètres des particules contenant du carbone pour atteindre de ce fait une récupération efficace des particules. En outre, l'invention permet de recueillir du carbone élémentaire contenu dans les particules contenant du carbone et la production de mélanges de carbone de grande pureté à travers une purification de courte durée. Les mélanges de carbone obtenus sont de grande pureté et fortement orientés utiles en tant que matière première pour des fullerènes ou des nanotubes de carbone.
