An ironing aid fabric treatment composition comprising: a) a nanoparticle dispersion comprising particles having an average particle size in the range 5 to 500nm, b) a lubricant phase comprising a lubricant selected from silicone oil, sucrose polyester oil and mixtures thereof, and c) water wherein the weight ratio of a) : b) is in the range 4 : 1 to 1: 4. with the proviso that when the colloidal nanoparticle dispersion comprises a silicone resin the composition is not delivered through an iron. Composition pour traitement au repassage de textiles comprenant: (a) une dispersion de nanoparticules d'une taille moyenne comprise entre 5 et 500 nm, (b) une phase lubrifiante comprenant un lubrifiant pris parmi une huile de silicone, une huile de polyester de sucrose et un mélange des deux; et (c) de l'eau, le rapport en poids de (a) : (b) étant compris entre 4 : 1 et 1: 4; à condition que lorsque la suspension de nanoparticules colloïdales contient de la résine de silicone, la composition ne soit pas appliquée au moyen d'un fer à repasser.
