Summary: | ELISA, Western Blot, and a peptide-based ELISA were applied to clinical specimens from patients with clinical symptoms of tick borne diseases, including Lyme disease. Peptides from different components of Borrelia during different cycles, including peptides from outer surface protein, leukocyte function associated antigens, immunodominant antigens, variable major proteins, and peptides from decorin-binding proteins of Borrelial subspecies (B. sensu stricto. B. afzelii, B. garinii) were used. Antibodies against specific peptides from Babesia and Ehrlichia were also measured.
On a appliqué ELISA, Western Blot et ELISA à base de peptides à des échantillons cliniques provenant de patients souffrant de symptômes cliniques de maladies transmises par les tiques, y compris la maladie de Lyme. On a utilisé des peptides provenant de différents composants de Borrelia pendant des cycles différents, y compris les peptides provenant de la protéine de surface externe, les antigènes associés à la fonction de leucocytes, les antigènes immunodominants, les protéines principales variables et les peptides provenant des protéines de liaison de décorine des sous-espèces Borrelia (B. sensu stricto, B. afzelii, B. garinii). On a également mesuré des anticorps dirigés contre des peptides déterminés provenant de Babesia et d'Ehrlichia. |
