The present invention provides a degradable extruded netting. The netting comprises a plurality of interconnected strands with at least some of the strands comprising a degradable composition comprising a polyolefin, a metal carboxylate, and an aliphatic poly hydroxy-carboxyl acid. In at least one embodiment, at least 10% of the strands are made of the degradable composition. The present invention also relates to a method for making degradable extruded netting. The method comprises extruding strands of polymeric material to form a netting wherein at least some of the strands are formed of the degradable composition. La présente invention concerne un maillage extrudé dégradable. Ce maillage comprend une pluralité de brins interconnectés, au moins quelques-uns de ces brins comprenant une composition dégradable incluant une polyoléfine, un carboxylate métallique et un acide poly hydroxy-carboxyle aliphatique. Dans au moins un mode de réalisation, au moins 10 % des brins sont fabriqués dans cette composition dégradable. Cette invention concerne aussi un procédé de fabrication de maillage extrudé dégradable. Ce procédé consiste à extruder des brins de matériau polymère de façon à former un maillage dans lequel au moins quelques-uns des brins sont formés de cette composition dégradable.
