Abstract An optical analysis unit especially suitable for performing grating coupled surface plasmon resonance (SPR) imaging features a pivoting light source capable of scanning through a range of angles of incident light projected onto a stationary target sensor, such as an SPR sensor. The reflected image from the illuminated sensor is detected, e.g., by a CCD camera and the image and angular scan data are processed, for example by a fitting algorithm, to provide real time analysis of reactions taking place on the surface of the sensor. L'invention concerne une unité d'analyse optique convenant particulièrement à la réalisation d'imagerie par résonance de plasmon de surface, se caractérisant par source de lumière pivotante pouvant assurer un balayage sur une plage d'angles de lumière incidente projetée sur un capteur cible stationnaire, tel qu'un capteur SPR. L'image réfléchie par le capteur illuminé est détectée, par exemple, par une caméra CCD et les données d'image et de balayage angulaire sont traitées, par exemple par un algorithme d'adaptation, pour permettre une analyse en temps réel des réactions survenant sur la surface du récepteur.
