Abstract | To be able to quickly and easily meet requirements for changing a recording medium size, especially, making its size larger, while meeting a faster recording requirement. A plurality of printing devices (116) spatially independent (separated) in mutual relations and also independent in a signal system an ink system are disposed in a proper layout to permit line-sequence recording. An information processing unit (100) divides a produced image into a plurality of elements of print data for transferring to a plurality of printing devices. A conveying device (117) for conveying large-size recording media to a plurality of printing device disposing areas is disposed, and a signal for setting print timing in association with the position of each of plurality of printing devices is transferred from this conveying device.
L'invention permet de satisfaire rapidement et facilement à des exigences visant à modifier la taille d'un support d'enregistrement, et notamment à l'agrandir, tout en satisfaisant à une exigence d'enregistrement plus rapide. Une pluralité de dispositifs d'impression (116) spatialement indépendants (séparés) en relation mutuelle et également indépendants dans un système de signaux et un système d'encre sont disposés selon une configuration appropriée permettant un enregistrement en séquence linéaire. Une unité de traitement d'informations (100) divise une image produite en une pluralité d'éléments de données d'impression en vue d'un transfert vers une pluralité de dispositifs d'impression.
