Abstract A fluid meter disclosed herein comprises a container (14) that can be pressurized, means for driving the pressure within the container (14) to a predetermined pressure, a sensor for measuring the pressure within the container (14) and indicating when the predetermined pressure is reached, a timer (38) for measuring the amount of time it takes for the container (14) to reach the predetermined pressure, and means for determining the volume of fluid within the container (14) based on the time it took to drive the pressure within the container (14) to the predetermined pressure. La présente invention concerne un dispositif de mesure de fluide qui comprend un récipient qu'on peut mettre sous pression, un organe d'apport de pression à l'intérieur du récipient à un niveau prédéterminé, un capteur de mesure de pression à l'intérieur du récipient et d'indication lorsque la pression prédéterminée est atteinte, un chronomètre destiné à mesurer la durée nécessaire pour que le récipient atteigne la pression prédéterminée et, un organe de détermination du volume de fluide présent dans le récipient fondé sur la durée nécessaire pour amener la pression à l'intérieur du récipient au niveau prédéterminé.
