Abstract A process for producing an aluminum material for electrolytic capacitor electrode, comprising subjecting in sequence an aluminum slab to hot rolling, cold rolling and final annealing, which process includes a step of, after the hot rolling, bringing the aluminum material into contact with a heating element to thereby heat the same. This step may be conducted at least once in the course of from cold rolling start to termination, or may be conducted after the cold rolling but before the final annealing, or may be conducted after the final annealing. La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'une matière à base d'aluminium pour électrode de condensateur électrolytique, consistant à soumettre en séquence une billette d'aluminium à un laminage à chaud, à un laminage à froid et à un recuit final, ledit procédé incluant une étape consistant, après le laminage à chaud, à amener la matière à base d'aluminium en contact avec un élément chauffant de manière à chauffer cette matière.
