Summary: | The invention provides a joint superior in such characteristics as oil resisting property, heat resisting property, ozone resisting property, sealability, and connectibility, and requiring less cost. A joint (30) disposed in an intake path between the cylinder and carburetor of an engine and applied to the connecting portion of an intake pipe that becomes a flow path for mixed gas fed from the carburetor, the joint comprising a joint main body (31a, 31b) made of nitrile rubber with chlorine resin added thereto, a fastening portion (32a, 32b) formed on the cylinder side of one axial end of the joint main body (31a, 31b) for fastening the joint main body (31a, 31b) to the cylinder, and a seal portion (33a, 33b) made of nitrile rubber and formed on the fastening surface between the fastening portion (32a, 32b) and the cylinder for sealing the fastening surface.
The invention provides a joint superior in such characteristics as oil resisting property, heat resisting property, ozone resisting property, sealability, and connectibility, and requiring less cost. A joint 30 disposed in an intake path between the cylinder and carburetor of an engine and applied to the connecting portion of an intake pipe that becomes a flow path for mixed gas fed from the carburetor, the joint comprising a joint main body 31a, 31b made of nitrile rubber with chlorine resin added thereto, a fastening portion 32a, 32b formed on the cylinder side of one axial end of the joint main body 31a, 31b for fastening the joint main body 31a, 31b to the cylinder, and a seal portion 33a, 33b made of nitrile rubber and formed on the fastening surface between the fastening portion 32a, 32b and the cylinder for sealing the fastening surface.
