Abstract | A method of electrodischarge wire machining includes a first step of roughing in a working liquid (4a) and a second step of finishing in an atmosphere (7) containing air, oxygen, or an inert gas such as nitrogen. A wire electrode (1b) covered with any of zinc, zinc alloy and zinc oxide is used at least in the second step. The method improves the accuracy, quality and productivity of electrodischarge wire machining.
L'invention porte sur un procédé d'usinage par décharge électrique à fil qui consiste, dans une première étape, à effectuer un dégrossissement dans un liquide de travail (4a) et, dans une seconde étape, à effectuer une finition dans une atmosphère (7) contenant de l'air, de l'oxygène ou un gaz inerte tel que l'azote. Une électrode filaire (1b) recouverte de zinc, d'alliage de zinc ou d'oxyde de zinc est utilisée au moins dans la seconde étape. Ce procédé permet d'améliorer la précision, la qualité et la productivité de l'usinage par décharge électrique à fil. |
