Abstract The present invention provides purified disease detection and treatment molecule polynucleotides (mddt). Also encompassed are the polypeptides (MDDT) encoded by mddt. The invention also provides for the use of mddt, or complements, oligonucleotides, or fragments thereof in diagnostic assays. The invention further provides for vectors and host cells containing mddt for the expression of MDDT. The invention additionally provides for the use of isolated and purified MDDT to induce antibodies and to screen libraries of compounds and the use of anti-MDDT antibodies in diagnostic assays. Also provided are microarrays containing mddt and methods of use. La présente invention concerne des polynucléotides (mddt) purifiées de molécules permettant de détecter et de traiter des maladies ainsi que les polypeptides (MDDT) codés par les mddt. L'invention se rapporte en outre à l'utilisation de mddt, ou de compléments, d'oligonucléotides, ou de fragments de ceux-ci dans des méthodes diagnostiques. L'invention concerne également des vecteurs et des cellules hôtes comportant des mddt pour l'expression des MDDT. Par ailleurs, l'invention a trait à l'utilisation de MDDT isolés et purifiés pour induire la production d'anticorps et cribler des bibliothèques de composés, ainsi qu'à l'utilisation d'anticorps dirigés contre des MDDT dans des méthodes diagnostiques.
