Antipruritic compositions and compositions promoting wound healing which contain from 1 to 10% by mass, on the solid basis, of low-stripped bamboo extract. Because of containing the low-stripped bamboo extract at an extremely high concentration compared with the existing preparations, these compositions have a high antipruritic effect on skin diseases (for example, atopic dermatitis), which can be hardly treated or ameliorated by the conventional methods, and an excellent effect of promoting wound healing. L'invention concerne des compositions antipruritiques et des compositions favorisant la subérification des blessures qui contiennent 1 à 10 % en masse, sur une base solide, d'un extrait de bambou faiblement écorcé. Du fait qu'elles contiennent un extrait de bambou faiblement écorcé à une concentration extrêmement élevée par rapport aux préparations existantes, ces compositions possèdent un effet antipruritique sur les maladies de la peau (par exemple sur la dermite atopique) qui sont difficilement traitées ou soulagées par les méthodes classiques, et un excellent effet favorisant la subérification des blessures.
