Abstract | Coated conductors (40) and methods of fabricating the same are provided, for minimizing a.c. losses during operation. Multilayered articles include multiple conductive layers (46, 47) in electronic communication through interlayer connections (54, 60). Conductive paths (50) are fabricated on the conductive layers and through interlayer connections between these layers so that current travels the length of the conductors with minimal a.c. losses. Preferably at least one of the superconductive layers (46, 47) is formed epitaxially on a substrate (42) covered with a biaxially textured buffer layer (44), the interlayer connections (54, 60) traversing an insulating or highly resistive layer (49).
L'invention porte sur des conducteurs revêtus et sur leurs procédés de fabrication visant à minimiser les pertes en courant alternatif en fonctionnement. Des articles multicouches comportent plusieurs couches conductrices communiquant de manière électronique par des connexions entre les couches. Des chemins conducteurs sont formés sur les couches conductrices et dans les connexions intercouches entre ces couches de sorte que le courant se déplace le long des conducteurs avec des pertes minimales en courant alternatif. |
