Abstract A channel estimation method of a channel estimation apparatus in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes predefining a plurality of weight tables about at least one of a speed and a Carrier to Interference-and-Noise Ratio (CINR) using a correlation value considering offset compensation; selecting a weight table to be used for channel estimation based on at least one of the estimated speed and the CINR, from the plurality of weight tables; and multiplying a pilot channel estimation value and the selected weight table, and performing data channel estimation.
