Abstract There is disclosed an information display apparatus in which a control apparatus main body for controlling a plasma display apparatus for displaying video can disconnectably be connected to a substrate for outputting video data toward the control apparatus main body via a connector. The substrate includes: a RAM and ROM in which information is stored; a video control unit which uses the information to create the video data; and a CPU for controlling the RAM, ROM, and video control unit, the control apparatus main body includes a power source unit for supplying power to the substrate, and the power source unit is connected to the substrate via the connector.
