| Abstract | 1533911 Making steel strip UDDEHOLMS AB 21 Jan 1976 [22 Jan 1975] 02343/76 Headings B3A and B3V A process for the manufacture of a steel band or steel strip, the steel comprising spheroidal carbide particles in a ferritic base, wherein a steel at least 50% of which is structurally at least one of lamellar pearlite, granular pearlite, sorbite, bainite and martensite, is heated from a temperature below the austenite conversion temperature Acl to a temperature above that, rolled, and cooled down again in too short a time for conversion to austenite to occur in the steel. An example is given. |
