Abstract The present invention relates to a method for the simultaneous detection and quantification of fungi and bacteria present in a divided solid containing cellulosic organic matter. According to the invention, to said sample before introducing into said cytometer, at least a first fluorochrome capable of binding to DNA and emitting, following an excitation, in a wavelength equal to or greater than 599 and equal to or greater than 657 nm is added.
