Summary:The present invention relates to an injection device for wireless power transfer comprising an RF signal generator configured to generate a Radio Frequency (RF) signal of a predetermined frequency; an injection probe connected to the RF signal generator, wherein the injection probe is configured to be coupled to an electrical cable comprising at least one conductor; wherein the injection probe comprises circuitry for injecting the RF signal as a surface electromagnetic wave into said electrical cable. The invention also relates to a system for wireless power transfer.
