Summary:The disclosure relates to apparatus for measuring the thickness of a sealing portion of a secondary battery, and the apparatus includes a non-contact measuring part including a pair of sensors disposed to face each other, and a controller detecting thickness information of the sealing part of the secondary battery, the information being collected by the non-contact measuring part, wherein the non-contact measuring part is able to measure the thickness in a non-contact manner while interposing the sealing part of the secondary battery between the pair of sensors. Furthermore, the disclosure includes a method for measuring the thickness of the sealing part of the secondary battery by using the above-described pair of sensors.
