| Abstract | Apparatus and methods for management and migration of functions or processes between two or more domains. In one or more exemplary embodiments, the functions or processes comprise virtual machines (VMs), and the methods and apparatus provide improved efficiency and reduced latency for such VM migrations between a first virtualized environment (e.g., a virtual configuration space or VDI) and a second virtualized environment by, e.g., enabling the first and second virtualized environments to operate simultaneously, for at least a period of time.
