Abstract The present invention relates to a method of determining at least one parameter representative of a change in a fluid (F) due to a temperature variation of the fluid, wherein the fluid is placed in a medium (2) transparent to the near-infrared domain and a spectral measurement is performed by multipoint (1) and multi-temperature near-infrared spectroscopy. The desired parameter is then deduced by multivariate analysis of the measurement.Furthermore, the invention relates to a method of monitoring and/or controlling a fluid flow in a pipe by implementing such a method of determining a parameter representative of a change in the fluid.FIG. 1 to be published.
