Summary:An information processing system (4000) includes a first information processing apparatus (2000) and a second information processing apparatus (3000). The first information processing apparatus (2000) detects keypoints from a photo image (12), and determines whether the number of the detected keypoints satisfies a predetermined condition. When the number of the keypoints does not satisfy the predetermined condition, the first information processing apparatus (2000) outputs a predetermined notification (40). The second information processing apparatus (3000) recognizes an article by subjecting the photo image (12) to object recognition processing using the keypoints.
