Summary:An apparatus for physical exercise comprising a resistance arrangement having at least one hydraulic cylinder adapted for providing resistance forces in at least a first and a second direction, the apparatus having a force transmission assembly through which the resistance forces are operable. The force transmission assembly having at least one actuation member being in operable engagement therewith and being adapted to transfer forces generated by a user in at least two directions of motion to the at least one hydraulic cylinder via the force transmission assembly. The resistance forces created by the at least one hydraulic cylinder opposing the user generated forces.
