Summary:A device for dispensing a dental substance comprises a chamber for the dental substance, a dispensing receptacle, and a dispensing outlet. The dispensing receptacle is shaped to define a predetermined volume capacity between the dispensing outlet and an opening of the receptacle. Thus the receptacle is adapted to receive a predetermined portion of the dental substance dispensed from the dispensing outlet. The device further is adapted such that for dispensing the portion of the dental substance the chamber is reducible in volume. The device may facilitate metering and dispensing of dental substances.
